Are you ready to take your teaching career to the next level?

The National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) provide an exceptional opportunity to develop your leadership skills and make a meaningful impact on school communities across West London. Accredited by the Department for Education and delivered in partnership with UCL, these courses equip educators with the expertise and confidence to lead effectively.

Are NPQs fully funded?

We’re pleased to share that the DfE will continue full funding for NPQH and the NPQSENCO in 2026–27, alongside a new commitment to full funding for NPQSL and NPQEYL. Scholarships for all other NPQs will continue to be based on disadvantage criteria. This creates a powerful opportunity to invest in leadership development, from developing early years leadership through to preparing future headteachers. This funding can be used by all eligible schools to strengthen provision for pupils, create clear progression for staff and support sustainable school improvement over time.

Why complete an NPQ?

  • Enhance and develop your existing skills and knowledge both inside and outside of the classroom
  • Improve your leadership confidence
  • Drive improvement within your school
  • Access a network of leaders and benefit from peer experience
  • Carefully paced programmes across 12 and 18 months.
